Carolyn's Story
I married a guy from Milwaukee. We have one daughter and have lived in Faribault, MN for 32 years. I taught elementary school until 1997 and became an educational consultant and grantwriter for schools and nonprofits. I served as an academic coordinator for a Somali charter school and currently manage community-based programs for Somali and Hispanic refugee and immigrant youth and their families in our city.

r. That experience has made me evermore appreciative of the gifts each day brings. We are the proud grandparents of 5 yr old Paige and 2 yr old Grant--the absolute loves of my life! I'd never figured to be a doting grandmother, but I am most certainly that!
We like to travel (especially away from MN during the coldest part of winter.) In theory I like to exercise. In practice I'm less committed. Oh, well, that's the story most of us share!
