Carolyn's Story
Life
I have been married for 41 years. My husband's name is Wayne.
We have one son,Joseph. My husband
worked for CB&I Co. for 30 years.
We have lived in several states---
LA, TX, OK, NM. We moved back to TN
in 1983. I became a LPN in 1976. I
went back to school and became a
RN in 1991. I was in a bad car wreck in July of 1998. I was declared 100% disabled. I had rehabilatation at Vanderbilt for 6 months for vestibular problems. I tried to work as a Registered Nurse again in 2006, but was unable to handle the phyical aspect (turning and lifting patients) of nursing. I am now retired. I went back to college again in the Fall of 2007 and the Spring of 2008 and earned a certificate in Health Information Technology and Medical Coding. accomplished more than anyone thought I would. I enjoy my family. My Mother died in 2005. She was 93 years young. I had 7 brothers and 1 sister, but I now only have 3 brothers living. Some of you may remember my brother John R. He has retired from the railroad and lives in Hendersonville.
I enjoy going to family reunions. I
enjoy reading, crocheting, my new
computer, music, going to movies,
and walking. I hope some of my
classmates will E-mail me sometime.
I have often wondered what became
of everyone. I wonder what they
have all accomplished. That's all
