Carrie's Story
Life
I live in Tracy, Ca. I have been here for 12 years now. Before that I lived in Hayward for 8 years, before that, South SF and Millbrae. My husband Alvin and I have 2 sons and 2 granddaughters. Alvin graduated from Polytechnic HS, SF in 1964 and spent 2 years in Vietnam. We are both retired and loving it. I worked in the freight industry (Willig Freight Lines) for 30 years. Our oldest son Alvin (45) is a member of the Tracy Transportation Advisory Commission. Our youngest son Bobby (44)is a professor at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. His field is cultural anthopology (Mexico). He is the father of our granddaughters, Deloris and Michelle. I am a member of People of Christ Baptist Church here in Tracy, CA. hear the word of God and fellowship with my fellow Christians. I stay in touch with a few of our classmates on a regular basis. It's hard to believe that 40+ years has passed since graduation. College
I went to city college for one year after graduation. I left there and went to work. I guess I was saving my college money for my two sons who went to U C Davis and Stanford.
1/30/2019 - With much sadness I announce the passing of my husband Alvin Vaughn, Sr. on 10/03/2018. We were married for 48 years. Thank you for your prayers.
