Carrie's Story
Life
I graduated from the university of miami with a degree in music in 1998 and met my husband the same year. In 2000 i won the jon Lennon International Songwriting Contest with my original song 'In My Life'. We lived in Miami until 2001, and moved to new orleans for a year where we worked in bands on bourbon street in a few different clubs. Fifth Avenue, and I guess you could say I am the consumate wedding singer... :) My husband Jason is a drummer and we work together in that band, as well as in another band called "Lockdown" that plays all over south florida. I am also working in a recording studio where i write music and teach private lessons for our clients. One of my songs, "One For A lifetime" was featured last year on TLC's "A Dating Story". No kids as of yet, but I guess my career is taking the front seat right now.
