Carrie's Story
Life
No kids (yet), have 2 cats, enjoy concerts (the Rolling Stones put on a great show!), and love Cardiology and Grand Rapids. I enjoy spending my free time running, doing photography, helping others, and recently have taken up learning to play a few instruments (you're never too old, eh?) I feel like I started my life when I turned 30. I never thought I would've experienced some of the things that I have... the tests of faith, strength, hope, & the will to "survive." ht now, and couldn't be more grateful for where I'm at & for who I'm with... surrounded by peace and the unconditional love of family and friends, old as well as new.
Workplace
After graduating from LSSU, I did trauma/ER nursing for a few years, then switched to cardiac cath lab nursing for another few years. Now I am a cardiology research database coordinator at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI. I love my job... no more weekends, holidays, or ON CALL! (But I do miss interacting with patients.)
