Life After leaving high school, I went to college in Spokane, WA. After graduating I moved to the island of Saipan to teach middle school. While there I became very sick. I now use a wheelchair and am deafblind. I returned to the US and got my master's degree at Iliff School of Theology in Denver. sability Coalition in the legal program where I do disability rights advocacy and enforcement. In 2000 I adopted my daughter, Heather who is now 16. In 2005 Adrianne, now 7 joined our family, and in 2006 Asiza, now 11 joined our family. I am an attorney working for the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition where I represent parents who have disabilities.
