Carrie's Story
Life
I attended CMU and graduated back in '92. Though I have had a variety of jobs since then, I have been a full-time mommy since June '06. Best job I've ever had! Busiest, but the best! I also run a business from home, helping other moms working toward their goal of staying home with their kids. I gave birth to my first child, Ava, 12/20/04. She is the light of our lives. Being a parent is the most important and incredible thing one can ever do! What a trip! And now we are expecting baby #2 in late November 2008-- and it is a boy! Can't wait to see this little kicke...Expand for more

Mark, Ava and I live in Okemos, MI. His teenage son, Evan, lives in East Lansing with his mom but is over at our house quite a bit. He's a great guy and the best step-child you could ever ask for. Believe it or not, I am great friends with his mom!
Mark is a Communications Manager at a software development company in Okemos. A self-proclaimed computer geek...with good looks and personality, too! What a combo! Plus he is very musically talented, which is also a bonus. ;) We've been married since 2001, and I really couldn't ask for more!
Our dog Lola (a boxer) is a lot of fun. She keeps us laughing. You cannot look at her and not smile. She's great with Ava, too.
