Cassandra Douglas:  

I retired from the work force in 2008 due to health issues. I was working at Kaiser Hospitals Call Ctr here in Sacramento, CA. After h.s., I married Gary Bruce Galloway and we had two daughters, Wendi Leigh and Ami Lynn. They and their families also live here in the Sacramento area. They are both married. I have two grandaughters by Wendi and one grandson by Ami. My grandchildren also live in this area. Gary passed in 2011. He had remarried Carmen Paul Ruta, who survives him in central CA. Gary and I were divorced in OH in 1963. Not much moss grew under my feet. I moved back and forth across our beautiful continent from OH to VA, back to OH, then to CA in 1973. I left the west coast in '76 and moved to FL where I met and married my 2nd husband Stephen Era Douglas. We were married six yrs and moved back to CA in 1981. Steve and I divorced in '83. He was from upstate New York but continued to live in the Sac area. He passed in 2009. In 1989 I moved to OK. My parents had moved there and I went to school in AR to learn to drive a semi truck. I'd been a sec'y for 19 yrs starting in construction in Solon, OH, and more or less ending my sec'y career in the CA State Legislature. No hubby, no...Expand for more
