Cassandra's Story
My real passion is photography and with the advent of digital technology I'm shutterbugging and photoshopping constantly. I love to travel; places of scenic beauty (to photograph) and historical places just because I like history! I have a very eclectic music pallet; from Broadway musicals to classical, opera, rock n roll (50's) and classical jazz.
I wanted to be a social worker but my family and friends thought that was a not a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.. Photojournalism would have been a better choice. Shoulda, coulda, woulda!!
I am now retired after 26 years with the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta as a Director of Operations and Office Manager.
Researching family history is also a great hobby so this too keeps me tied to my computer. My fingers are the only body parts to get physica...Expand for more
l workouts.
My 6 year old grandson keeps me on my toes and on the go.
Would love to hear from old friends from St. Joan of Arc, St. Joe's and Camden High.
Be happy and be well ya'll.
My first job was at Lit Brothers Dept. Store, where I got paid .60/hr. to be a sales clerk.. What I remember most about it is great discounts on clothes and setting up displays..
Trick or Treating in Fairview every year. They were really great fun days. Also the 4th of July parades and block party in the Square. Best times.
A surprising fact about me is that I really wanted to be a dancer; even though I got cold feet at my first recital.
St. Joan of Arc classmates would probably remember that I was the only student who loved the music lesson.
Remember those great carnivals at SJA? Fairview was a great place to grow up.
