Cassandra Messner:  

Life Hi! Since our 25 year class reunion is quickly approaching, I've decided to try to reconnect with friends from the past. Hopefully, if you remember me (or Eric Messner), you will respond to this and let me know how you are doing. So, as far as after high school, I attended De Anza College for 2 years, then transfered to Foothill College for dental assisting and dental hygiene. Eric and I married in '91 during his 2nd year attending UC Davis for medical school. We had our 1st child, Andrew, now 14 yrs old and attending FHS, in '93. Then, the summer of '94, Eric went active duty with the US Army. We lived in Fort Irwin, Ca, in the middle of the mojave desert, for a total of 5 years. We lived in Dupont, Washington for 2 years in between. We had 2 more kids, Elisabeth (12), and Michael (11), during our mojave desert days. I became a full-time mom during Eric's Army years. We have been back in Sunnyvale for about 6 years now and I am currently working part-time as a dental hygienist, volunteering in my kid's schools and church, and trying to maintain my sanity!!! Life can be so crazy and busy, but it is all so worth it! Let me know how you are doing, School Eric was my biggest crush in high school. He is still pretty awesome after 16 years of marriage! I remember Mr. Saboe in Anatomy & Physiology, he was pretty cool when volunteering in the science lab. Cheerleading was great, especially the friendships and spirit camps. I remember sneaking out at night with friends and christening people's homes with toilet paper!!! College I remember being in class with 24 extremely ambitious women in Foothill's dental hygiene program.
