Catalina's Story
I am Catalina Falcon Lukavsky. I was born in Omaha, NE. I have nine brothers and sisters. All of us attended South High. I received an Associates Degree from Nebraska College of Business. I had worked as a Secretary at Creighton Law School, a law firm, Mutual of Omaha, Union Pacific Railroad and Boystown. I was a member of the Professional Secretaries Association. I ran many 10,000 meter races in my mid 20's. I ran and finished the Omaha Marathon and the Twin Cities Marathon and corporate runs. I got married in May of 1987 to a wonderful man, Tim Lukavsky, who is now a dentist. I have four children, two sons are married and one became a dentist. I moved to Arizona in October of 1988, which I am still residing in Mesa, Arizona. I have worked for my husband's practice. I was a Hospice volunteer for four years. I volunteered many years at my children's elementary school. I was one of 20 contestants for the Mrs. Arizona Pageant in 1990. I have finished two 10 mile Iron Girl Races in Tempe, Arizona I have worked for 14 years working as a Special Education Aide at a junior high school. I have traveled to Rome, Italy; Dominican Republic; Cancun, Mexico; Oxaca, Mexico. My next dream trip is to travel to Greece. I have two handsome grandsons, 4 years and 18 months.
