Catharine's Story
Well all, it's been 51 yrs and when I look at everyone's faces....it's like yesterday in my mind. Just recently while watching tv I saw an ad concerning people at a high school reunion and that started my mind whizzing. I really wanted to try to contact some of our class members and any others I knew in school. After graduating I got married and had my daughter Karen. Five years later in another marriage I had my son John. Marriages don't seem to sit well with me. I lived in Texas for a number of years and then came back to GA. After the death of my mother in 2004, I moved to Macon,GA. There I finally met my soulmate. We've been together almost 10 years.I retired early fro...Expand for more
m AT&T as an OSP Engineer. I bought an old victorian farm house in Jeffersonville,GA that we are still renovating. I love it. JC and I do reenacting of the War of Northern Aggression in numerous places over GA and FL. JC started War Days in Clinton,GA over 30 years ago. It's Sat April 30 and Sun May 1 this yr (2016). One day is the Battle of Sunshine Church and the other day is the battle of Griswoldville. The guys portray Confederates and Yankees both. They are not showing any side as right or wrong. It's just a living history program. Would love for anyone interested to visit with us during the event. Would love to hear from anyone. My best to all! Life can be very good!
