Catharine's Story
Attended UNC-Greensboro and pursued a B.F.A. in Studio Art and Education. Was ranked #1 on the women's fencing team. Left college in 1973 to marry Stewart L. Rogers III (Page class of 1968). I met Stewart at a dance at UNC-G. He was attending UNC-CH. I was a long haired, hippie art student and drove a Carolina blue, 1965 MGB convertible around campus. I had 2 sons, Justin (1975) and Todd (1981).
I continued my art education at Alamance Community College earning an A.A.S. degree in Commercial Art and Advertising (4.0 GPA). I created the Visual Arts Club and was editor of the student newspaper.
Owned my first horse and competed in hunter-jumper events locally. Also foxhunted with Sedgefield Hunt, Red Mountain in Durham and Triangle Hunt in Raleigh. I have trained up to 4th level in dressage. Still horse crazy!

my 2 sons there.
Divorced in 1996. Own my own freelance graphic and web design studio, Blue Sky Creative Studio in Chapel Hill, NC.
Happy in my work, creating artwork and web designs, but still available and searching for Mr. Right, who can appreciate a kind, sweet, honest, intelligent and creative woman like me.
My parents have passed so not much opportunity to return to Greensboro. But I just met a person throught freelance work who was also a Page graduate! Attending high school at Page was such a unique and defining experience that lasts a lifetime! I will never forget Mrs. Austin, my art teacher, and Mrs. Betts, my advanced English teacher. And winning Gold Keys and the Hallmark Honor Nomination in the Scholastic Art Awards. That achievement helped me find my calling, the talent I have for art that I use today as a freelance designer.
