Catherine's Story
After graduating from Concord, I went to UD that fall. I married Mike Morris (Concord Class of 1972) in August 1973. Finances were very limited for us in those days since a recession had hit, (remember those gas lines). I graduated in 1976 with a BS in Dietetics and landed a job with the hospital system now know as Christiana Care. I work there still as a Registered Dietitian. I see other Concord graduates from time to time working there too.
Mike and I went on to have three daughters: Car...Expand for more
olyn, Elizabeth and Marianne. The family is rounded out with son-in-law Andy and grandson Will. We are looking forward to our fortieth wedding anniversary next year.
We love to be around water. Both of us belonged to swim clubs as kids. I swam for Fair Blue & the Y as well as Concord's team for a bit. Now we go fishing and water skiing in Avalon NJ much of every summer. We have been going to the Florida Keys quite often too. Overall,we are pretty happy with how our lives are turning out.
