Caye's Story
Life
After graduation, I met and married Dale Hughes from Salem, MO in 1960, 47 years ago. Dale, graduated from Salem High School in 1956. We have two children, Steven and Sherri, both Salem High School grads.
In 1968 we moved our family to Salem and raised them there on the family ranch. We raised cattle, horses, hounds and hogs. Hughes Quad H Ranch.
We also have 5 grandchildren, ages 21 down to 4. Four girls and one boy, who is the youngest and very energetic. As of November 1, 1012 We now have 2 great grandchildren, one boy, Zeke (3) and a girl (2). We also have another great granddaughter due 12-12-12. And in 2013 still another in May. This is the icing on the cake of life!
After working a variety of jobs over the years, I was able to attend real estate school and later brokers school as well. I now have my own small company, Caye Hughes Realty.
We moved to Lampe, Mo in 1996 on Table Rock Lake. We love the lake life and have made many friends here.
One of the best things that ...Expand for more
has happened in our lives is the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. We attend FBC Kimberling City and are a part of the builders ministry here. Each year we travel to Louisiana whith whom we work on building new churches. It is a great service ministry and one we hope to continue many more years.
Come see us at the "lake".
Workplace
I have worked as a Real Estate Broker in the area around Table Rock Lake for quite awhile now. But, I have slowed down to enjoy time with my family and friends. We love living on the lake after 30 years of living on a cattle ranch in south central Missouri, where we raised our 2 children. But now we have 5 grandchildren and we enjoy time spent with them. We travel some, but we enjoy lake life so much that we don't travel as much in the spring and summer.
I have had a variety of jobs over the years, but raising my children was my most important piece of work. It has paid well.
If ever in the lake area, give us a call, we'd be happy to see you.
