Catherine's Story

By the time I finished college at NIU and graduate school at Northwestern, I was a professional singer, doing opera, concerts, recitals, and singing with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, something I still do. I have lived in Boston, and LA, toured the Northeast and the Western US, auditioned in Europe and soloed with the Chicago Symphony, among others. I spent four ...Expand for more
years with Webber's Phantom of the Opera, and was never allowed to play Carlotta the way Minnie Driver played her in the movie, which I loved - she stole my ideas! I teach privately now in the suburbs and downtown, and love it!  Never found time for marriage, or a guy who could handle my career, but I have lots of nephews, a niece and a grand-nephew to love!
