I was born on a beautiful Friday morning in April, in South Shore Hospital in Chicago, with a ton of brown hair! I am the eldest of three children of my wonderful parents, Robert and Marion Caruso and I have a fantastic brother, Jim and a terrific sister, Gina. We originally lived in Chicago but moved to South Holland when I was eight years old. I played school a lot with my dolls and read incessantly. I also practiced my flute and grew to be able to play the Flight of the Bumblebee for solo contest and got a first rating. Music is a wonderful pastime of mine whether it is singing, playing or listening. I thank my parents, Mr. Paul Jankowski and Ms. Adeline Anderson for some of that. I thank Christ for my talent.

ed from Valparaiso University with a degree in Elementary Education concentrating also in Theology and Psychology. I completed post-graduate work in History and Political Science from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
I adore babies and believe that they are sacred. I also think that marriage is sacred as well. I really wish that I could have been a Mom, but God made me a teacher and that is sort of being a Mom to many children instead. I only hope that I am living up to His expectations as this profession is very challenging and a stressful one to be in today.
Christ became my Savior at such a young age, I cannot even recall exactly when. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He did die on Calvary to save humanity from all of our sins, including all of mine. I believe that He rose from the dead proving that He was who He said he was because only the true God could do that. I believe that if any human being accepts this as fact in faith, and is sincerely repentant (sorry for their sins), that person will spend eternity with Jesus in heaven and is saved from their sins forever. It is only through Christ's shed blood on the Cross that any individual may acquire salvation. Our works cannot add to this at all as we cannot save ourselves or even maintain our salvation. Christ did it ALL for us and we must trust in Him and in His work on that wonderful miraculous Cross completely. Our good works after we become Christians may merit heavenly rewards from Christ, but they can never save us. Still, we were created to perform them and Jesus does promise us this if we serve Him with pure motives, attitudes and faithfulness. This gives me great incentive to serve the Lord Jesus each day in spite of much heartache and many disappointments in my life.".
