Catherine's Story
It is very hard to believe that 50 years have passed since graduating from Randolph High School.I studied French in college and taught French and Spanish in a local high school for 4 years, Then, I had the urge to really learn to speak French, so I went to the source - France. Lived there for a year and learned to speak the language better than I could after studying 4 yrs in high school & 4 yrs in college.
I met my husband on a park bench in the Jardin des Tuileries. We have now been married for 39 years.
we went back to France when our son was 2 1/2 yrs and stayed for 6 months. We have 2 children, Eric and Linda. Eric is married and has 2 children, Emma 8 and Evan 4.

rking at the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association for the past 29 years. I started out as a parent aide - helping young families with social and medical problems. It was the best job in the world - getting to take care of and play with and bond with young children. I am now in the office doing scheduling.
My husband reunited with his family after almost 30 years and went back to his country of Algeria in 2005. In 2008 and 2011 I traveled with him to visit with his family in the lovely city of Bejaia on the Mediterranean, so I am still using my French and even learning some of his own language, which is Kabyle.
Some things never change. I am still tap dancing and still loving it.
Hoping we can arrange a 50th reunion. Would love to hear from classmates. as they say in French, A la prochaine
