Catherine's Story
Well I'm stilll in Australia, have been here since 1966 along with my brother, Jack. Momma and Poppo were sent back to the States in late 1966 and Jack and I decided to stay for another 6 months .... long 6 months. I married in early 1968 and had my only child in September 1969 ... a son ... the joy of my life. Divorced when he was not quite three ... long story ... ...Expand for more
and he and I have been on our own since then. I worked in Fashion and Advertising for many years and worked with the disabled and taught special reading classes in my spare time, at GJ's school. Today I work as an Aged Carer and love it. Poppo passed away in 1990 and Momma came to live with me then, we lost her July 6, 2009. Still very raw. That's it in a nutshell.
