Catherine (Bobbie)'s Story
For those who knew me "back when", I went by the name "Bobbie". I attended Fesler Jr. High and started high school at Santa Maria HS. However, I didn't get to graduate with my friends. My mother died in an accident and I moved to Portland, Oregon to live with my dad. After graduation I worked for the State of California. First EDD then CalTrans and back again. I began studying the Bible and subsequently became one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I married in '75 and had 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. At that time I decided to be a stay at home mom. ifornia. When my husband became ill, we decided that I should reenter the working world. I joined the staff at Blue Shield of California Federal Employee program. Unfortunately, I lost my husband in '98. Needing a change, I moved to Reno, Nevada. Bought a house and watched my children marry. At the beginning of the year, I again sold out and moved, this time, to Maine. I teach English part time and am a full time minister. Update: I moved from Maine in early December back to California. But, only temporarily. In a couple of months I will be moving to the islands of Tonga. For those of you who didn't pass geography, it is in the South Pacific, NE of New Zealand.
