Catherine's Story
Life
I got married in college, but am amicably divorced since 1998. Never had kids of my own, but enjoy being Auntie to my younger sister Betsy's 2 girls and my youngest sister Margie's 3 boys.
I'm the proud parent of Corby, a big brown dog of unknown parentage, and Beanie, a pudgy black cat also of questionable roots.
College
I interrupted college after getting married, but finished my BS in Business at Penn State in Dec 2007. Along the way, I earned my AS in Business Administration in Dec 2005 and a Paralegal Certificate in 1992.
Workplace
Since Jan 1998, I've worked for Harley-Davidson in York, PA. I am currently assigned to Touring Assembly, but have previously worked building Softails a...Expand for more
nd Dynas. As a member of the Assembly Technical Training Team, I deliver training for new hires and current employees. We work with platform engineers to develop products and assembly processes for current and new model years. It also allows me the opportunity to work on quality issues or continuous improvement projects.
As a member of our Corporate Assembly Best Practice Circle, I regularly travel to our other assembly plants in Milwaukee and Tomahawk, WI and Kansas City, MO. We meet monthly to share experiences and insight with the intent of optimizing production while also improving employee safety and product quality and controlling costs.
It's been a great job and a rewarding place to work.
