Cathi's Story
Life
I am still married to Mark. We have 3 sons, 1 grandson and a beautiful one year old granddaughter named Lucy.
Our oldest son and his family live here in Eugene, my middle son is in Haiti working on an internship involved in the infrastructure of a new American Embassy, and our youngest is a senior in high school who likes to raft the rivers.
We have been here in Oregon for 16 years. We moved here from Hawaii after being there for 4 years. We have our home in Eugene and an apartment in the Portland area for me to stay when I am working out of that office. Oregon is a beautiful place and we were fortunate to raise our children here.
I love to travel and have a job that takes me to Hawaii every year. I have been on trips with my sons to New York, Florida, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Baltimore, Washington DC, Grand Tetons, Hawaii, and several trips to California in the last couple of years. My younger sister Colleen moved to Oregon about 10 years ago and lives a couple of hours south. They have a place on the coast, so although the beach here is not that warm, it's always fun to get together at the beach house. Both of Mark's siblings have moved to Oregon and his parents are here part of the year so Oregon has received several former Fresno residents from our families.
My mom still lives in the Fresno area so we do get back to the area once in a while, but it seems she comes north much more than we go south any more.
College
I graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Accounting. I have obtained my CPA license and my Series 7 and 66 designation for financial advising.
Workplace
I am a partner for a CPA firm here in Oregon. I split my time between our Eugene and Portland offices. My specialization within the firm is working with financial institutions. I really enjoy what I do.
