Life I love my life. I love to live. I cherish my day, more so since I won my five year battle with cancer. I used to say "Any day above ground is a good day" ,, now I believe and live this saying, Life is good. If I can describe my personal bio, it would be that I conquered obstacles. I gave birth to two beautiful children. I am good to all living sentient beings and even to the unconscious. I became educated. Education is more than an institution. Education is a life-long process. Wherefore, I am currently working on a doctorate. I love living. That is my life to date; at the present,. School My educational goal of obtaining a doctorate has become a reality. I am actively working towards achieving the highest level of education I can receive, a doctorate. This is awesome! I only wish I had realized the power of knowledge when I was in high school. Einstein said something to the effect, "Any fool can learn, it is understanding that matters." Needless to say, admittedly as a teen I was such a fool. Nonetheless, education is an integral part of my daily life to date; whether I am teaching or participating as a student. 8/9/08 Eight months after my double mastectomy and 4 other surgeries along with numerous cancer treatments, I am on my way to living a cancer-free life. Although, I will be on breast cancer treatments for the next 5 years, my life is mine to live. (I also just finished another master's program...I don't like to quit.)
