Life I have been married for 25 years. For the first 16 years, I lived two houses away from my childhood home. For the last nine years, have lived in East Eden and absolutely love it! Far enough away from the maddening crowd but near enough to shopping (go figure) and crowds when I want. Right now we have 2 labs, 1 yellow and 1 black plus a cat. Wasn't lucky enough to have children (then I got too old, I felt) but have 3 nephews that I love immensely. Update: my brother just adopted a newborn from Arizona so I now have 4 nephews that I spoil! My husband loves cars (Fords) and racing. So the two of us have 7 cars in the family - 2 pickups, a "super" Mustang, 2 antique cars, a Crown Vic and a '64 Fairlane that he is working on for a "cruise" car, and everyone of them is a what? A Ford, of course! Update: The Fairlane is done and he has won quite a few plagues at car shows - very exciting and happy for him.
