Cathy's Story
Life
Hey everyone, its only $9.99/annually to go gold, why not do it? I just did. (free plug for Classmates.com).
Anyhow, immediately after graduating from UNH, I moved to San Diego. I was introduced to San Diego as an exchange student my senior year, and there was no turning back.
I shunned my college education to become a horse trainer....something I never would have believed I was doing, but I love it and it keeps me in shape. Have been a horse trainer for over 20 years.
I met my husband in the industry (yep, I found the only non-gay english rider, haha). We just had our 11th anniversary.
I have a step-daughter who is 13, but never had kids of my own. Best of both worlds, great kid, no stretch marks, haha.
I got my REALTORS license in 2006, so anyone who ever wants to move out our way, get in touch with me. I can help with either a purchase or a rental.
So, for fun, I spend time with my Bull Terrier, as you can see in the pics. He is my other boyfriend. He is a great dog, but demands a lot of attention.
Since my wild high school and college days, I have mellowed out a lot, but I have tried to remain true to my youth. I ...Expand for more
had some years that were pretty horrible, with a bad relationship that ended up in a pretty serious stalking situation. Long story to be told over cocktails. :)
But, after the storm, there is a rainbow, and that is where I am now in my life.
Could not be better. I enjoy every day (well, most every day, do not forget about PMS....!!!!)
I stay in touch with my sisters who live in Austin, TX, along with my Mom.
My husband and I have gone on three cruises in the past couple years and vacationed to Cabo with my sister Cindy in Oct. 2007. Was a blast (there is a picture posted, thats the most recent).
I feel that with age, I have matured and aside from a few wrinkles, that I have grown to be a better person and really have learned to appreciate what life has to offer.
I like meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I especially LOVE hearing from old classmates, even if we did not know each other well (or at all), I would LOVE to hear from you. Don't be shy.
So, life is good in Sunny San Diego, no other place like it in the world. Its the best to me, I have finally found peace.
Take care y'all and live life to the fullest!
