Cathy's Story
Born in Munising. In the U.P. Left in 10th. Graduated from G.C. East in 71
My family lives in Adrian, Mi. I am having fun. We have 8 grandchildren. Been married to my husband Bill for 30 yrs. We enjoy our boat and RV. We are in the water for Mothers Day and take our last boat ride around Halloween to see the color change. Last year we camped up until Nov.1 still see Tyler and keep in touch with Debbie Langowski. Spent a catch up moment with Beckie Jenks Gallo. looking forward to un thawing in Fla. in Feb. Our son and each of us have a sister there. We have camped on Key Largo and Islamarado& Marathon, Been to Key West. Too busy. We have camped on the Old Swanee River. Bill is retired since last Easter. in May. we took one big trip out west. All the way to Temecula, Cal. With a lot of stops in between to enjoy.We visted all the Natioal Parks. Grand Caynon, Zion, Brice. We saw the painted desert & the Petrified forest. Went to Yellow Stone and saw the Old Faithful and it was snowing!!!! We went back the next day on our way to the Grand Tetons It was awesome to see the snow covered Mts. The air was so fresh. n a day pass from N.M. So it was epecialy cool to walk through the colums of our stae flags with them, a great day. We saw Hoover Dam. They are buliding a new highway over the top. All I can say was O.M. GOSH. It is sooo over the top. We Visited Custer Battle field and Cematary that goes on for miles. We also visited the Bad Lands. I realy didn't know what to expect. They said it was an underwater ocean that dryed up when the land plate changed a gazillion years ago. Any way the colors were beatiful and it gave the OLD WEST a whole new meaning. The Parie Dogs had babies and they were playing all over. We stopped the car. They all stood so still for a minute then went back to playing . We stoped at my brother's and visited a few winerys. Very cool. But Arts Garage was the neighbor hood stop.We went to Packer Land and visted Vince, Bartt, Reggie's banners hit the pro shop for new Packer Hoodie. Ended up in my home town Munising for the 4 th of July. It's the best place for fire works after a late sunset . It's been a good year. Hope to be in Fla. for the better part of the winter.We have a travel traier. And our spoiled rotten dog Sam loves to ride and camp.Enjoy your day. Cathy
