Cathy's Story
Who remembers the girl that got pregnant in grade 9? Yup, that was me. Not quite the way I want to high school or my life to go, but it is what it is. I had my son Michael, on December 8, 1971. I did not complete grade 9. I don’t remember a lot about high school except that I was in band, played the clarinet, never learn to read note anytime I played. I just faked it.. Memoir, “Beautiful Buttons: A Memoir of Survival and Triumph”, available worldwide. Get the paperback edition,..it has pictures. LOL! I remember a girl named Bernadette in my class and not much more, during my short visit. I also remember typing class...only thing I was good at back then...Eddie Skotnicki was my downfall (baby daddy) and I often think ‘what would’ve happened if’.... so here I am 62 years old, three joint replacements later ...LOL! with two beautiful grandsons age 14 and 15, and a son who was my best friend for a very long time. I wish I got to meet and know you all. XO
