Cathy's Story
Left California after DV for Texas Tech. Graduated and married my college sweetheart. Had three kids, one with special needs. Married 23 years when my husband had a massive heart attack and died. Now I'm raising my kids alone. My oldest son is a junior at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Tx. My next son is a high school senior and has been accepted to Texas Tech ~ my alma mater! , is 14 and keeps us laughing all the time. Lots of challenges with her, but lots of fun too. We have lived in Boerne, TX for 11 years. (Boerne is close to San Antonio) The last several years have been spent watching my boys play football. I'll miss it next year with both of them now in college. To keep busy, I sell advertising for two local magazines and produce the programs for the high school football and basketball teams.
