Cathy's Story
Well, once I got my degree in psychology, I realized I didn't really want to help anyone. Nor did I want the responsibility of failing someone who depended on me. So, I started bartending and opening restaurants across the US. LOVED all the traveling and getting to see so much of the country. I even got to go to Taiwan for a month - not for a restaurant but because my Dad was working there. When my first son was born, I got out of the bartending scene and went behind the scenes at the corporate office as a Buyer. Also lots of fun - but I was struggling to keep my marriage together. ore moving around and got pregnant with my second son while living in Atlanta. Came home to Arkansas to have him and have help from family. He is, so far, completely neurotypical and an absolute joy! Anyway, now I work at Arkansas Children's Hospital as the Linen Manager while I work on a degree in Health Information Management. Come on, I have two boys to put through college - I need a great paying, in demand kinda job! Life is busy and life is good. I can't imagine that it would be any better - unless I could just reconnect with a special someone who shall remain nameless. If he needs a hint though, he lives in Texas and works at a major restaurant which has a location in Denver - which I used to frequent. To all my friends - be strong, be safe, and be well!
