Cathy's Story
Life
I went on to college after high school and completed my associate degree. I was married and divorced and have 1 grown son.
I worked at Arlington Hospital for 30 years and have worked at Reston hospital for four years. I received my BSN and MSN from GMU in 91 and 99'.
I am single and my son lives in North Carolina, married with 2 boys that are 51/2yrs, and almost 4yr.. I live in Centreville and have for the past 24yrs.
Workplace
I worked at Gino's, Drug Fair...Expand for more
and Memco during the end of senior year thru nursing school. They were fun places.
After graduation from college I started working at Arlington hospital for 30 yrs, making more money but not enough for all the many
more tasks we have to do and the responsibilty. I worked ICU for 25 of those 30 yrs. I have worked at Reston for 1 1/2 yrs doing Mother=Baby unit. I love the newborns, still get to teach new parents. little less streessful and much happier enviroment.
