Cathy's Story
I came from a struggling family home where my parents were separated 7 years before divorcing. Which I grew up the oldest of 2 kids it wasn't easy without a father around, my mom worked hard struggling with 2 kids and her parents helping out. It never got any easier just got harder as time went on,in school I was always picked on, just before high school my mom remarried even though I didn't like my step-father. in every form of the word and have a son from that marriage that was the only good thing out of it. Well he asked for a divorce and I said thank you God, moved back to Monroe, NC trying to do better for myself was working for Bojangles in Indian Trail doing good for myself but some bad things happened lost my home among other things. After that I ended up in Charlotte, NC that's where I met my husband Scott through him rapping and singing we met in 1998 married in 1999 we've been together 11 years and married 10 years this past Sept. 2nd it's been wonderful and he treats me like a lady.
