Cathy's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Indiana University for two years, until I realized I didn't really want to be a teacher. Married Kevin Schroeder (GCHS '75) in December of 1979 and moved to Illinois, Missouri for 13 years and back to Illinois in 1993. Currently in Crystal Lake, IL. We have two children...Justin who was born in 1982 and Emily in 1986. We lost Justin to a car accident in April of 2003...he was a special human being and we are still working through that. pecial human being) is soon to be a junior at Marian College in Indianapolis, with Cindy Fisse and Kim Hoeing's daughters....small world. Kevin is in the industrial accounting profession and I am the office manager of a neurosurgical practice. We've been too wrapped up in our kids' activities to make the last few reunions, but are looking forward to those to come. I still keep in touch with Trudy Maudlin Ewing and Jane Mauer Wallpe...some things will never change. They are still good friends. Would love to hear from some of the crowd of '77.
