Cathy's Story

Life They say that life begins at 50..well, I'm seven years into the new life and it really doesn't look any different than, say, 49! I have four handsome brilliant athletic Foothill-graduated sons. Life doesn't always match the video we have in our mind of what life will be like - I lost my precious youngest son in December of 2006, so it's been a tough year for my family. e less hard. I also have the most gorgeous granddaughter..she's only four years old, but I already have her soccer career all mapped out..YES, I AM the original soccer-mom! I work and live in Delano (just think of Delano as a suburb of, gee...where...ummm...McFarland)..the oldest son lives and works in Port Hueneme (must be tough, huh), and the other three are Bakersfieldians - so I burn up 99 in both directions on a regular basis.
