Cathy's Story

Life for the last 50 years has been full and, for the most part, happy. I married Noel Folsom, AHS class of '51, in 1969, and we were blessed with three sons. Chris lives in Fresno, Tim lives in Minnesota and Michael lives here in Alameda. Michael is married, and we have two beautiful grandchildren. They all graduated from AHS. I lived the traditional life of stay at home mom while the boys were in school with innumerable volunteer work with PTA. At one time I served on three PTA boards and PTA Council at the same time. k to work in 1986 at St. Barnabas Church on the west end of Alameda as a secretary/bookkeeper and worked on different parish projects. After retiring 10 years ago, Noel and I traveled a little. He can't be a plane for long. His 6'6" frame gets a bit cramped in those seats. Living in Alameda, we enjoy hopping BART to San Francisco for the opera, museums and symphony performances. We moved into an 1897 Victorian 10 years ago in Alameda love its ambiance. I'm looking forward to our 50th class reunion and Noel's 60th reunion in 2011!

Remember "Mork From Ork'? Robin Williams' portrayal of Mork was the highlight of the week for the Folsoms. The t-shirts were a must have.
