Life
I moved to the Palm Beach area from Jacksonville this year 2006. I have a wonderful view of the Intracoastal and the ocean. My enjoyment is watching the manatees and occasional dolphins swimming by. It has been a long time since I have lived in South Florida. I left in 1977 and moved to New Jersey where I saw my first snow.......Sorry but I like the sunshine better. Snow is pretty when it first falls, but boy what a mess when it melts. My next move was to Virginia Beach, VA. It was nice but they still get snow in the winter. he woods on a dirt road...need I say more. Found out I really am not a country kind of girl. Now the next move was the best as far as I am concerned.....ALOHA from Hawaii. Now here you have the ocean breeze, the mountains, and the sunshine. It truly is paradise. That is one place if given the opportunity I would live again. From Hawaii we made it back to Virginia, but this time to a village just on the other side of the river from Yorktown. It was very quaint but once again SNOW....and this time it took a while for snow plows to get to you. Anyway, from there it was back to good ole Florida THE SUNSHINE STATE. Boy, did I miss it.
