Cathy's Story

My daughter is now married and has a little girl this last August. Anna Elizabeth. They are doing fine and I am now "grandma"
I bet most of us are all in that category now!!!. My company is allowing me to work two days from home and I am babysitting Anna so that she doesn't have to go to daycare. It is a real joy but a lot of work. I know now why people in their 20's are supposed to have the kids!
Everything else is just status quo. Like all of us, we are losing a ton in the stock market, kids are grown and we all want to retire but at this point who know what is going to happen.

aveled in Europe that year which was a blast. Have a daughter Sarah who is now 23 and married this last summer (2004). Divorced in 89 and married Doug Swanberg in 1992. I work in IT. Traveled with a software company for awhile but am now a Systems Analyst for a manufacturing company. Enjoy my life but can't wait to retire. We have a wonderful golden retriever named Chester and enjoy living in this beautiful state.
Chester passed away a couple of years ago and we now have Riley, another big red dog. He is really wonderful.
My dad passed away in 1996 and my mom is still kicking at 84.
My brother Pat lives up here in Washington with his wife Melissa and son Collin. Pat's first son Will, lives in Huntsville, AL and is in IT also. My other brother lives in Casper, WY with his family.
I still keep in touch with my friend Rickey Drozd who lives in Northshore.
Can't believe we are all hitting 50. Just doesn't seem possible.
