Cathy's Story

Hey to all my Cousino peeps!! I cannot believe that next year is our 20 YEAR REUNION!! I am so excited about seeing everyone again! We have had such a great time at the other reunions...I am sure this one will be even better! I love reading about what all of you have been up to...so I will catch you up on my life! After graduating, I went to beauty school and got liscensed as a hairstylist. That became my career for the last 18 years! I love what I do and it is FUN! I married Ron, who I dated in high school, in 1995 in LAS VEGAS!! We had two daughters, Veronica and Grace. They are now 8 and 6 and go to WILKERSON!! I cannot believe they are going where I went to school! I just became a LUNCH MOM there!! I NEVER thought I would be a lunch MOM but kids change things!! I am still best friends with all my girls from high school! Jennifer, Kelly, Kendra, Maria and Dorene and I get together all the time and have Girls Weekends every couple months! etty CRAZY!! I don't think we have changed at all! I don't laugh with anyone in the world like we do when we are together! I still live in Warren....no place like home! In our spare time, we travel and spend summer weekends up north in Port Austin whenever possible. My kids love Frankenmuth, so we go there whenever we get a chance. Every May we go to Kentucky for the Smith Family Reunion...YEE HA!! My Dad passed away 7 years ago and he was my best bud, so I love visiting my family in KY because it makes me feel close to him again.It is always fun and I swear every year I have 10 new cousins that I never knew existed...that is a REDNECK thing I guess!! When I get some spare time...I like to read, watch movies, re-decorate my house, sew and spend time with my Mom, sisters and their families. I have been very blessed in the past 20 years and just try to appreciate each day and roll with what life presents to me....sometimes wonderful and sometimes not so much...but definitely BLESSED!!
