Life
Wow! So much has happened since high school, but it feels like it was just yesterday... I finished my degree at UTSA and got married in 1980. Gary (Hottle) and I had been dating since my senior year at Clemens, so marriage seemed the next logical step. I have 3 great kids from the marriage, but we were never really suited. We divorced in 1992, when my sons were 9, 7, and 1. My oldest son graduated from UT-Austin and got married 3 years ago to a wonderful girl (no grandbabies yet), my middle son works as a general manager for Taco Cabana in Austin, and my "baby" is 19 and is "finding himself", so I'm officially an "empty-nester". n College Station- having a Longhorn and an Aggie in the family makes for interesting times around Thanksgiving! I was an assistant principal at Kitty Hawk Middle School in the Judson ISD for 4 years, then was named Principal of Elolf Elementary School (also in the JISD) this year. Being a Clemens grad whose 3 sons also went to Clemens makes it kind of strange to be cheering for the Judson Rockets, but I absolutely love my job! I'm not involved with anyone right now, but who knows what might happen in the future? Being in education just doesn't provide you with a wealth of single men, if you know what I mean, not to mention that working from 6:30 am to 9 pm doesn't really provide much time for a social life. Looking forward to the May 1st mini-reunion!
