Cecelia's Story
My life has been like a roller coaster. After school I worked at Suffolk Air Force Base then when to work a Grumman for 19 yrs. That is how I ended up in Florida.
I got married at 24 to a wonderful man named George who was a Social Worker and was working on his PHd. After 15 miscarriages we adopted a little girl named Erika. She was 3 days old when we got her. She is now 29 and she is a CNA studing to be a nurse.
1989 my world came apart when my husband died. Grumman asked me to come to Florida and I went. Took my Mom and we took off for this new venture.
After getting here Grumman decided that it was cheaper to hirer locals for most of the administrative duties. So I went back to school.

sonal chief for the owner of Time Warner, Sales manager for a local magazine, then I found what I was a job I loved. I was director for resources for woman and families. I loved this job but in 1999 I found out I had Lymphomia Cancer. I was given a 25% chance of living. While doing surgery they nicked my vocal cord. For one year I didn't talk. As you all know I am a talker. After all the chemo and radiation. I begged a friend to let me set up a private practice for her (she is a Mental Health Therapist who deals with addictions).This was the start of who I am today. I am the business manager and for the past 4 years I'm a Certified Life Coach. I help people with addictions. I love it.
So this is 45 yrs. I can't wait to read all of your stories.
