Where has the time gone??? I have had a very interesting and busy life since leaving Austin. I re-married in 1982 and became an "instant" mom to a 4 & 6 year old. Kim is now 30 and the mother of my WONDERFUL<PRECIOUS grandson, Cameron. He will be 3 in September. No doubt he is the joy of our lives. Mike is 28 and lives in Boulder, Co. He graduated with 3 degrees, all honors. Now this is a "kid" who didn't finish high school according to plan...go figure! My husband, Bill, is self-employed consultant for an asset company out of California. He travels extensively. gracious to me and restored my health more than once. In 1976 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease and almost died. Then, the last "biggie" was in 1999 when I had bacterial meningitis and pneumonia. I was on life support for 9 days. The doctors did not expect me to pull thru. God does answer prayers and obviously was not finished with my work here on this earth. I cherish every day and really do try to enjoy the little things...My father passed away Nov. 2001 which has left a big void in my life. My Mother lives with her husband at Canyon Lake. I stay busy with my family, church friends, and neighbors. As the big 50 approaches, I find myself enjoying life more and more...and thankful for each breath!
