Hello Everyone! My husband, Richard, and I and our 3 cats, moved to Orangevale, in the fall of 2016, after living in Napa, California for about 17 years, and in Dixon about 8 years before that. We moved to be closer to some of our siblings and their children because we finally talked Richard's 90 year old mother into moving in with us. She and two of our cats have passed since I wrote last. We've been in the "new" house for almost 7 years now and it was great being able to have large family gatherings here. We love our neighborhood and have made many great friends here ... so, I think we will stay put. My daughter, Hillery, who is 48, (Wow ... I'm the mother of a 48 year old), is still in Napa and is the General Manager of the North Block Hotel, in Yountville. My husband retired in January of 2019! He was the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing at Crystal Geyser Water Company, (for 32 years) ... We've been together over 38 years ... married for 32 years this July. (We met at the 7 Up Bottling Company, in Sacramento, where he was the Plant Manager and I was the Executive Secretary to the President/Owner). He's a car nut and car collector … (15 cars currently ... we sold a few of them since I wrote last), who also collects antique radios...Expand for more
