Celie's Story
I have been married to Gus Horan, Jr., 1960, West Islip High School, for 42 years and since 1977, we have lived in Deerfield Beach, Florida. We have three children and three granddaughters. Ami is married to John Fitzgibbon and they have two daughters Kayla, age 12, and Gillian 7 years. Ami is a teacher assistant at St. Joan of Arc in Boca Raton, where Kayla & Gilly attend. 2010 they moved back to Florida. Kevin is the Music Director and Kelly is a Biology teacher at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale. Their daughter, Temperance Grace was born in December, 2011. Brian is teaching music at Boynton Beach Middle School in Boynton Beach and also working with Spanish River High School band and color guard in Boca Raton. After 30 years with the Bell System, I retired from BellSouth in August, 2000.
