Life Since high school, I have lived in MI, IA and now IL. My first husband was very abusive and after 4 years of terror I stood up for myself and left him. I then met my wonderful, supportive, loving husband at work who I have been married to for 6 years and known for 10 years. My life took a changed since January 5, 2001 when I was out walking and a car lost control in the snow and hit me. My leg was broken badly in the accident and I was bed ridden for 4 months and in PT for 12 months. I will still need more surgeries in the future but things are good now. I decided to achieve my goals in life, spend more time with my 13 year old son and family and friends and live life to its fullest. I volunteer my time for many causes since I am still unable to work at this time. I am a captain for a cancer walk team, which I started when I heard about my best friend Stephanie Bell who died from cancer in August of 2001 and when my mother in law was diagnose with cancer and survived. College and life have been so rewarding to me because I know God has choosen a wonderful path for me to journey down. Only God knows whats next for me but I bet it will be wonderful no matter what it is. Behind every purpose in life there is a reason for it.
