Charla Harmon:  

Life I am Renee Harmon (Charla), and after I graduated from Ewing in 1974, I worked for NJ Psychiatric Hospital from 1974-1979, as a clerk Stenographer. In early 1979, I transferred downtown to the Bureau of Licensing, for 9 months. In between that time, I had my son, Leonard, who is now 26 years old and lives in Seattle, WA. He graduated from college in 2001. In 1979, I enlisted in the US Airforce, and I was stationed in Utah, Turkey, California, Texas, Japan, Germany, and Washington State. I retired from the Airforce in 1995. While in the Airforce I received my associates degree in logistics and Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. It took me 13 years to complete both degrees going part-time as a single parent. 5 months later I went back into the Department of Defense System as a AirForce Contract Civilian, doing the same job as a Traffic Manager (moving cargo and people), at Izmir Air Station, Turkey from 1995-2000.
