Charla's Story
After high school I worked for a few years. Then I met Jay in 1997. He was 32 at the time and I was 22. We dated for a few months then moved in together and married on my grandmother's birthday 01/12/98. Our son James David was born later that same year. I went back to work this time at Charles Schwab & later Merrill Lynch. Then I had Shelby in 2000. In August 2001, we moved to Raymore, MO. and I love it here! pple pie! : ) Jay and I have been married for 10 years now and it keeps getting better. We do have our breaking points but we never let it get that far. We stuck it out through thick and thin and we enjoy spending time with each other and our kids. Every few years we make it back to Colorado and I do miss the mountains but it's always nice to go back home to Raymore. Now, I work at Commerce Bank (we just bought out a bank in Aurora) in the Trust Department as a Management Reporting Specialist. I've been doing this for 3 years and I like it.
