Charlene's Story
Hmmm, where should I start? I just moved back to the valley in 2002 from San Diego. Gosh, I really liked San Diego but I couldn't land a job to save my life at the University. I did some temp work, but finally got a job offer from the Dean of Students. I even worked for Sycuan in their education office for a little while.
So we came out to visit my brothers and sister in San Jac and when I was leaving saw this house and well, the next thing I knew I'm were in escrow. Sold my house in San Diego and hired Rick Patillos to move us.
I have also lived in New Mexico and in the Oakland/San Francisco bay area. Loved the bay..
I. have 11 grandchildren.
Pets? Dogs of course.
Hobbies? Photography. I even carry a small camera in my purse but I use my Nikon SLR to take most pictures. I've always like to take photos but my oldest son (great photographer) really got me into it.

ant to me. I've worked with computers since the 70's but working as the Assistant to the Chair of computer science at UC Berkeley and got me hooked. I was even a Web Master, maintaining the Computer Science website and later Web Master; creating and updating the web site for the Malki Museum.
How do you hope old friends remember you? I'm always surprised when people remember me because I was so shy in high school. People who know me now are surprised I was shy, but that's what working will do to you.
What I like most about being back in the Valley is meeting classmates from SJHS.
I 've finally added a photo of me October 2007. Yeah, when you are the one taking pictures you hardly ever get a photo of yourself.
