Charlene's Story
I currently live in Pa. with my husband, Dean and our dog, Scooter. We have 3 sons and 9 grandchildren ( 2 girls, 7 boys) ranging in age from 16 yrs. to 1 yr. One of our sons lives locally, but two of them are in the Army on active duty. Presently, they are stateside- one in NC and one in Alaska- but both were in Iraq at the same time a couple of years ago. One will be deployed to Afghanistan this summer. last year with a serious health problem and was hospitalized for 14 weeks and spent the summer recovering. His health has been improving the past few months, for which I am thankful. I continue to work as a nurse in Infection Prevention and Staff Development- Dean retired 3 years ago. I'm hoping to join him in next June then we are probably relocating to NC. Most of our spare time is spent visiting our boys and grandchildren.
