A couple of days ago somebody who loves pets posted the photo on the left.  The woman looked familiar but I couldn't identify her just then.  The next two photos are of that woman, film actress Audrey Totter (1917-2013).
Today is an exciting day.  The derby runs in a couple if hours and after that the Dodgers go for their fourth in a row in Monterrey Mexico.
Before today is over I just want to recall the death yesterday of a man who was quite famous when I was a kid.  Charles Van Doren, R.I.P.
