t Charles:"I am a director and cinematographer. Much of my work is in the TV commercial area, although I have shot and directed numerous resort marketing videos, TV shows, documentaries, corporate / industrial films and independent short features. Recent gigs as DP for crime reenactments for the TV series "Forensic Files" are some of the best experiences I've had in recent years.
I was born in Gulfport Mississippi and grew up in the Kansas City area. I started in the film business in 1962 at Calvin Productions, a big industrial film production companyin Kansas City, MO. I spent two years in the Army (1965-67) and did a one yrar tour of duty in Thailand. My wife, Sheila, and I were married in 1968 and have two children: Cheryl, age 42 and Douglas, age 39, as well as four grandsons, ages 9, 13, 15 and 17.
We have lived in Independence, MO, Tucson, AZ, Jacksonville, FL and since 1981, in the Tampa Bay area.".
