Charles's Story
Charlie is from Staunton, Virginia. He is married to Sharon Ash Fowkes. His schools include Shelburne Middle School and Robert E. Lee High School (Class of '69). He later attended the United States Air Force Academy where he received a B.S. degree in Military History and was commissioned in 1973. He received an M.S. Degree in Telecommunications from George Washington University in 1978, and an M.S. Degree in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University in 1994. After retiring as a Colonel from the US Air Force in 1997, Charlie spent the next 15 years working as a government contractor with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) supporting wargaming activities for the Air Force Chief of Staff. He and his wife are currently co-owners of C&S Global Travel, Dream Vacations, in Huntersville, NC
Charles's interests include coin collecting, bowling, golf, and traveling the world visiting new and interesting places. He follows the AF Academy Falco...Expand for more

Books he likes include The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and the entire Bourne series. The movies he likes include The Twilight Saga, all of the Bourne movies, and Mission Impossible. The TV shows he likes include Designated Survivor, The Walking Dead, Lucifer, Westworld, The Affair, Billions, The Americans, Game of Thrones, The Blacklist, Scandal, Blindspot, Homeland, and Shades of blue
I have a son, Charles C. "Chad" Clatterbaugh, Jr., who lives in Mooresville, NC, with his wife, Katy. They have a son (my grandson), Camden James Clatterbaugh, who is three years old. I also have a Step Daughter, Heather A. Boyce, who resides in Glenn Allen, VA, with her husband Matt. Heather and Matt have two, beautifiul little girls (our granddaughters) -- Meridian and Genevieve, and a son McKinley.
